Noblis Logistician -Planned Maintenace System in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Responsibilities

Noblis MSD’s mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) and their missions’ to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings. Currently we are looking to hire a Logistician-Planned Maintenance.

The Logistician will be working on:

  • Subject matter expert with the U.S. Navy on surface fleet maintenance policies and procedures for Hull, Mechanical, & Electrical (HM&E) systems.

  • Develop and modify Planned Maintenance System (PMS) for U.S. Navy ships and shore activities to perform scheduled maintenance on their HM&E and Weapons systems/equipment.

  • Develop Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs) and Maintenance Index pages Maintenance Index Pages (MIPs) using Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis performed by NAVSEA 04 RCM Level I or II Certified Developers. The MRC is a systematic procedure used by the sailor to accomplish required shipboard maintenance. The MRC includes a list of all tools, parts, material and test equipment required to perform the MRC’s specific task.

  • Create Class Maintenance Plan (CMP) tasks for HM&E ship systems.Assessment tasks that are recorded in the CMP are cross-referenced to the appropriate MRC in the PMS database.

  • Research, compilation, organization, and publication of technical data.

  • Submit products using the current approved Navy PMS Editor (NPE) for HM&E ship systems

  • Submitschanges to PMS are submitted by various users through a Technical Feedback Report (TFBR) through Remedy. A TFBR is submitted by the user to request changes to MIPs and MRCs.

Required Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with :

  • Bachelors degree in related technical field that demonstrates ability to perform assigned work. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree

  • Secret Clarence

  • 5+ years of professional experience working in a logistics field

  • Prior experience working on U.S. Navy and/or other DoD programs preferred

  • Must possess a strong background Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Motivated individual looking to lead growing teams

Desired Qualifications

  • Understanding of the Navy’s maintenance environment and strategic priorities

  • Must have an RCM Level I and/or RCM Level II certification

  • Familiarity with Military Documentation Standards (MILSTDS)

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.

USD $67,800.00 - USD $105,975.00 /Yr.
